Dartmouth College: Olympic Silver Medalist and Entrepreneur Brian Hansen on Tuck Executive Education’s The Next Step Program

Hanover, Dartmouth, and Tuck are lovely places full of lovely people. I appreciate my association with them.

I attended The Next Step Program at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business. I’ve written about that for SOFLETE (look further down the site). Dartmouth asked me to write profiles of Alumni and POOF!…a freelance writer was born.

SOFLETE.com: An Interview With Tyler Giles, Man of the World

See? He’s better looking than me. Probably better looking than you too. Also, nicer than me. And smarter. Frankly, the whole thing would be a little aggravating if he wasn’t such a great dude.

Tyler is a great friend of mine who is featured elsewhere on this site because he is better looking than me. He is interesting enough that I pitched SOFLETE the idea of using him as the first of a series of interviews I am doing about regular, every day, extraordinary humans. The folks at SOFLETE HQ bit on the idea, so here we are. Sorry about the potty words, Mom.

SOFLETE.com: What My Dog Taught Me

The Lady at rest. She lies in wait for her next adventure.

I wrote this one morning watching our dog, Laurel, bolt into the yard to run the same route she does every morning. It made me think about the boxes we put ourselves in, that they’re generally artificial, and that we can generally exceed the limits we set for ourselves just by deciding not to accept those limits anymore.
